What you usually ask.
Do I need a battery to start?
No. You can install just panels and offset surplus, then add a battery later. We leave the system ready for it.
What if I rent or live in a flat?
For flats the natural option is your building’s collective self-consumption. We cover it in the Collective self-consumption section.
How much do I really save?
It depends on your consumption and how much you self-consume. In a typical home the saving is between 50% and 70% of the bill (estimate).
Does the installation have to be legalised?
Yes. Every grid-connected PV system must be registered with the authorities (RD 244/2019). We handle it all: we issue the certificate (CIE), file the responsible declaration at your town hall and deal with the grid operator. You do no paperwork.
What is surplus energy?
The energy your panels produce that you don’t use at that moment. It’s fed into the grid and, under simplified compensation, your electricity supplier discounts it from your bill.
Who activates the surplus compensation?
We do: we register the installation and arrange the compensation contract with your supplier, so you start discounting surplus as soon as possible with no paperwork on your side.
Is there a limit to the compensation?
Yes. Compensation can bring the energy term of your bill down to €0, but it never creates a credit balance and doesn’t discount grid fees or taxes. If you regularly export a lot, we’ll look at adding a battery or switching to a selling scheme.
Do I have to change the meter?
Almost never. Today’s digital meters are already bidirectional and measure your surplus. If you still have an analogue one, we ask the grid operator to replace it at no cost to you.
What happens to the energy I don’t use?
It’s fed into the grid and credited on your bill through simplified surplus compensation. The better your consumption matches sunlight hours, the more of what you produce you actually use.
Do they produce on cloudy days or in winter?
Yes, just less. That’s why we size with the real monthly irradiation for your location, not summer averages: the numbers we give you already account for the weaker months.
